Who Would True Valor See, Let Him Come Hither

The Annual Commemoration of The Completion of The Alien Mission, held at The Aetherius Society Temple, American Headquarters, Hollywood, CA.

Fifty years ago tonight, something happened upon this planet which was closely viewed by those in the highest echelons of this Solar System, as well as by those, we can presume, upon similar echelons throughout this Galaxy, and even in galaxies beyond.

And yet this landmark event in the history of this world completely passed by those of us inhabitants who only through the Grace of God can be counted in that same Cosmic scheme of things. And yet you could argue, and you might be right to argue, that we did not deserve to be counted for the very reason that we were too absorbed in our pitiful, self-inflicted ignorance to even know that this inter-galactic action of unprecedented war was taking place right here upon this very same planet where we reside, and had been for all of the previous eight months.

Of course, we should have counted just as we should have known; and had we known we could, perhaps, have somehow even helped in this alien conflict which, after those agonizing months of unfathomable struggle and darkness, finally ended in Victory on this very day, January 22nd, just fifty years ago.

And even today, with fifty years of life, and opportunity, literally bought for us by that handful of truly, truly dedicated Spiritual Warriors we know as the Five Adepts, the vast, overwhelming majority of our race still do not know – and what is worse, or even more sad, still do not care to know.

Our Master has stated, with regard to the only event in the history of this Earth – besides Her initial inception – that supersedes the importance of the Mission we commemorate this night – namely The Primary Initiation of Earth – that should we fail to recognize that Initiation, mankind – or at least that same overwhelming proportion of ignorant mankind – will perish. The same statement may no doubt also be said of our recognition for The Alien Mission and the glorious Adepts Who fought in that Mission on our behalf.

For again, as our Master has also so plainly stated, without the Victory of the Adepts in the Alien Mission we would not know “any of the rest”; for we would already have been “enslaved” by the alien.

As for those of us who do know, and much more importantly, those who deeply care – such that the Knowledge of this event forces us to change our lives and point us in a new direction, we nonetheless – at this moment in time – simply do not have, nor can we find, the words and actions to rightly honour this event, and the Cosmic Skill and Bravery of those Adepts. But for now, we trust, it will suffice that we are simply here – this night – to remember Those few Who fought on our behalf, and on the behalf of all life upon this planet. And Who, just fifty years ago, prevailed in the greatest of all conflicts this Earth has ever known.

And let us remember too, that their supreme courage and valour is not so much measured in the knowledge that they prevailed, but in the realization that they were willing to fight at all against an alien that enshrouded them like a vast chasm of blackness and evil in which they, themselves, were the only, and almost imperceptible, Source of Light.
